how can i fix my jemella limited ghd model no ghd 3.1b?

the mains lead is faulty the straightners are coming on and then going off (flickering). Can you supply a replacement mains lead?
Carol Walker, June 2007
If you purchased them from a hairdressing salon they should have Royal Mail Special Delivery bags (FREEPOST) for you to return them to Jemella to have repaired (I believe that sometimes there is a charge if outwith warranty).

Got the ghd's back in under a week. New mains lead. No problem, working well.

My daughters have exactly the same fault. I have taken them to bits to find that it needs a new power lead, which is a sealed unit. Jamella refuse to supply one. I have found someone on ebay who will repair them for £17.99. Sending them away for repair tomorrow. He will fit a new lead but it will not swivel. If you go to ebay uk and type in 'GHD repair' in the search bar you should find it from there.
I will let you know how I get on.
