do you think it is possible for me to sew a new zip into boot
as the old one has two teeth missing in the middle i put it into the shoe repairers in february only just got it back and its still broken

what if there are no teeth missing on the metal zipper............I have a pair of 300 $$ 9 West boots with such a zipper and appreciate any advice.

If you took it to the menders and they gave them back still broken, you should find another mender and get your money back from the first one! But seriously, if you love those boots, and you think they are worth mending, get a professional to do it. I've bodged repairs with things like this before, and usually end up with worse problems, or even having to throw away much loved shoes or boots. Don't risk it!!

Is the zip a Plastic zip or a metal zip. if it is metal you can replace the teeth that are missing if plastic then you will have to replace the whole zip.
