Hot water has been coming out from the tap for years until it stopped, a friend then advised that i should top up the water which did work well for short period, what can i do as it not easy to have a bath/shower without hot water.
Please advise.

which boiler of the hundreds available is it?
have you thought about maybe getting someone to service it ?
