TX400 Sportcraft error?

During my run last night my treadmill stopped suddenly, I almost flew through the wall... Anyway, the number 4, no "E" or anything else, is in the speed/calories box on the far right. I do not have an owners manual as it was not given to me with the treadmill. Any idea what this might be... and possibly a fix for it? Thanks!

Have had it in storage for a while. It says E4 after being powered n for about 10 seconds. It will not run at all just powers on. Can you please help??

Q Error Code Reference:
A E1 – Acceleration Curve is too fast. Belt is accelerating too fast. The treadmill will shut down.

E2 – Speed is over maximum or out of control. Unit shuts down.

E3 – No speed sensor reading. Unit shuts down. This is the most difficult repair diagnose. The speed sensor is connected to the frame of the treadmill near the drive pulley on the front roller. There is a small magnet on the side of the pulley wheel. The sensor tip must be no more than 5mm from the magnet. If for any reason the distance is greater than 5mm the treadmill will shutdown.

E4 -- Incline moved without command

E5 – Incline motor overheating. Allow to cool. This takes about 15 minutes. The error code should disappear from the console when the motor is cool enough to operate. This error will appear if the user is over the weight limit or the incline motor has been in continuous operation. The motor is designed to have many pauses in its operation.

E6 -- This error code appears when the treadmill starts running without any command from the console. The unit will shut down immediately and “E” will appear in the left window and “6” in the Timeout Window.

E7 – This error code appears with runaway speed or acceleration faster than designed range. It appears as noted in E6. E7 locks the console and prevents any commands going to the MTCB until the repair is made. This is to prevent consumers from attempting to use a treadmill that has experienced runaway speed. Runaway speed is fixed by replacing the MTCB. A technician must then unlock the console after replacing the MTCB and set the MAXVR. Unlock console as follows:
1. Press and HOLD the MODE and STOP buttons while simultaneously turning the power off by removing the Safety Key.
2. Continue to hold MODE and STOP and replace the Safety Key. The console will beep
3. Press Speed up ONE time
4. Release all buttons. The console is unlocked. Now proceed with setting the MAXVR.

At least I was not the only one. I am also having the code 4 issue. I have not figured out the problem yet. It sure would be helpful if Sportscraft would put a repair manual on there site.
