why is that our Hotpoint ultima TDC62 Condensing Dryer doesn't work. it just says emptying water. but we already empty it. how can we fix this?

I had same problem and it was the thermostats. They can be replaced ( paid £48) that was for labour as well. It could also be the heating element which would cost approx £87
