laguna will turn over but wont start?

after jet washing my car this morning thought it would be a good idea to clean the engine bay. But now it wont start it turns over but no ignition the spark plugs are working as i have tested them. So defo not an electrical problem. could be the fueling because i cant get compression when i have the plugs out. could i have caught the fuel cut off switch if so how do i turn the fueling back on. its a r reg renault laguna 1.8 if you have an answer for me would be much appreiciated thanks matt.

How do you know you have no compressions? If you have no compression you wont of just lost it,

I had a problem many moons ago with a truimph herald after steam cleaning some how the jet loosend the choke flap and it shut, but I pressume your car is electronic injection.
I would let it dry and try again, lot of work to check modules etc out
Remove air cleaner on check around the less obvious things also. good luck
