My potterton Lynx clicking on and off every 5 secs?

Potterton Netaheat 16-22 repeatedly cuts in and out. 3-5 secs.?

I have just moved into my house and have inherited a Potterton Lynx. It completes the cycle igniting the pilot and then the main burner no problem, but then it clicks and cuts out for a split second, then reignites. It continues to click on and off every 3 to 5 seconds. It is also intermittent. I'd be grateful if anyone can tell me what could be causing this?

It cannot be an air pressure switch if its the Lynx I as it does not have one!

Its most likely to be as a result of a lack of flame detection !

That would be PCB, electrode or the flame lifting off the burner. That should really be dealt with by CORGI.

is your boiler the lynx 1 or 2 model if it has 2 vertical rows of l.e.d 's on the front panel it is a lynx 1 .on this model the air flow sensor is not available as a spare so if its that get anew boiler.however sounds like its the full sequence board not making good contact on the distribution board in the control panel
