My activa bernina 210 is sewing only in a long stitch length it also did it the other day but was serviced and went fine for a day but then started to do it again.It is doing it in all stitches and I think I have tried all the basic trouble shooting things.

Also make sure you have enough pressure on the presser foot.

Hello Terri,
If your machine is sewing in normal stitch length then suddenly goes into long stitches the problem will most probably be either a blunt or bent needle, the needle only has to have a slight burr on the end or be bent very slightly and it will miss stitches giving the impression that it is only sewing long stitches.
