I put the key in the ignition, but the key will not turn

Mine's done the same and the barrel had gone.... chance's are it will stick again if you manage to turn it . main dealer charge's £150 to replace or £166 if you've not got the car's key code as the imobiliser has to be set up to take the new barrel and key.

if your ignition key is part of the imobiliser system.similar to astra 2000 model.
the key is a transponder(it means it has a code chip inside)and if its not letting u turn the key,its not reading it,you need to have your key reprogramed
dependant on your key.if it has remote locking n unlocking buttons on it
