nokia 6280.shows camera on standby mode when trying to switch on the camera?

i had done a crash course on mobile phone repairing from ITI institute Bangalore.here we were not taught any thing much about camera phones.
i have got a nokia 6280 phone for repair.the problem is that when we try to switch on its camera it says operation failed camera on standby mode.thinking that it would be its strips problem i tried putting a new strip and then checked.. but the problem was not solved....could you please help me solve this problem...

I fixed it by restoring settings using the *#7780# code, it's working wonderfully now! (:

thank u very much my nokia had a prob when i try to capture a photo it was saying camera on standby so i used the code of restorin (*#7780#) and it works fine thx alots Mr Flame my regards ..

dear just change the strip, beneth the LCD, if it dowsn't solve ur prob. then probabely change the plate under the buttons. 101% prob will be solved. for further query "cactismart@yahoo.com"
