seat alhambra atomatic gearbox problem?

Hi. I have a Seat Alhambra 1.9tdi with auto gearbox, model 1999, 115bhp. I have some problems with the ecu namely loss of turbo charge (diagnosed as faulty map sensor) and flashing oil indicator lamp/erratic rev counter.
I took the car in for an oil change (thinking the latter problem was in fact a result of overdue oil change) but the fault was still there. I decided to take the car home anyway but driving back the car developed another fault. I could hear the solenoid switch kicking in on the (auto) gear lever and the gears were shifting 1st, 2nd and neutral.
Now sent the ECU for repair but when I spoke to the workshop the person in charge advised me that the gearbox problem is probably not due to any malfunction on the part of the ECU.
Anyone out there experienced anything similar so far?
Thank you for your assistance.

Hi i rebuild transmissions for a living have done for over 15 years now.
Your gearbox is known as vw01m,these go wrong all the time if i read your statement right when driving it pulls away in 1st change,s into 2nd then looses drive?
If this is the case what normally happens is the valvebody wears out over a long time loosing oil pressure so your k3 clutch starts to slip eventually burning out totally meaning you loose 3rd gear, and 4th because it,s a line shift gearbox so if it wont drive in 3rd it cannot shift into 4th.
