CHECK AUTOZONE THE MANUALS FOR YOUR VEHICLE ARE NOT THAT EXPENSIVE.
YOUR NOT GONNA GET A FREE MANUAL ONLINE, YOU CAN GET A MANUAL ONLINE IF YOU PAY A SUBSCRIPTION.
JUST SPEND THE 12.00 FOR A MANUAL, AND GET IT DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
ITS REAL EASY THOUGH.
REMOVE THE CAP, THERES A DRAIN VALVE ON ALL RADIATORS , DRAIN ALL THE WATER , UNSCREW THE CLAMPS ON THE HOSES (ALL OF THEM)
REMEMBER WHAT YOUR TAKING LOOSE . YOU HAVE TO PUT IT ALL BACK
IF YOU HAVE TO WRITE IT DOWN AS YOU GO.
REMOVE THE PLASTIC SOVERS AND STUFF.
YOU BASICALLY HAVE TO TAKE OUT EVERYTHING THAT IS IN YOUR WAY.
THEN REPLACE EVERYTHING YOU TOOK OUT.
MAKE SURE TO TIGHTEN EVERYTHING UP AGAIN.
ADD WATER /ANTIFREEZE TO THE RADIATOR THEY SELL IT PREMIXED AT AUTOZONE 50/50 TOP OFF FLUID.
CRANK THE CAR, LET IT RUN A FEW MINUTES AND WHEN THE ENGINE GETS WARM, THE THERMOSTAT WILL OPEN.
YOU WILL NOTICE THAT YOU NEED TO ADD MORE WATER,
ADD MORE TILL ITS FULL.
PUT THE RADIATOR CAP BACK ON, TEST DRIVE IT. BUT DONT GO FAR.
COME BACK AND LOOK FOR WATER LEAKS. IF NO LEAKS
GOOD.
LET THE CAR SIT A FEW HOURS, THEN GO TAKE OFF THE CAP AND SEE IF IT NEEDS MORE WATER. IF SO ADD SOME
IF YOU SEE LEAKS , IT PROBABLY FROM A HOSE CLAM THAT NEED TO BE TIGHTER.
I SAY YOU SHOULD BUY THE MANUAL,BECAUSE IT WILL ALSO TELL YOU STEP BY STEP HOW TO REPLACE THE THERMOSTAT. YOU NEED TO CHANGE THIS WHEN YOU CHANGE A RADIATOR, SO IT WILL COOL/HEAT RIGHT.
THE MANUAL TELLS YOU HOW TO DO THEM BOTH
