there is a joint in the steering coloum check that is not seized up. disconect the joint off the steering pump if steering is still stiff thats your problem.

1. check your tyre pressures. Ideally 90 - 100 psi
2. make sure the universal joints on the steering column are all free and moving.
3. ensure the stubs are free moving and well greased, this is probably the most likely problem.
