The interior light of my AEG Santo 'electronic' Refrigerator flashes on and off every time the door is opened.
The flashing is a regular 'beat'
Internal temperature seems to be OK.

I have the same problem. The flashing is so regular it would seem to be a deliberate signal of some sort. I have mislaid the manual (if there ever was one) so I don'y know what it indicates.

I have exactly the same problem with my AEG Santo Fridge. As there is no warranty I am planning to remove the Controller PCB and see if I can trace the problem. I suspect it to be a relay on the PCB but don't quote me on that. If I find anything I will post it.

If I can't repair it then it will mean a replacement PCB.
