my washer stops half way through wash cycle when it should be about to start spinning.it has to be emptied of water by the front drain and i spend ages mopping my floor!any ideas for a helpless girl, thanks

I suspect this is the same problem as mine has. It appears that when the main control board fails the machine gets stuck on a particular program and can't be cancelled. Luckily, mine's stuck on a No4 wash so I can continue to use mine but obviously yours is stuck on spin. It's beginning to look like the solution is a replacement main control board (about £85)

I've got problems with the WIA111 too. Only mine is stuck on the final spin cycle. When I go to start a new program it starts on the spin cycle also. Flicking through different forums, I think we've got a duff washer that is riddled with problems.
