Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher 913T stuck on wash cycle?

F&P 913T Soft Touch dishwasher has just started 'jamming' on the wash cycle - 4 leds on and washing continuously. If I press the power button, the dishwasher empties OK. Start on normal wash - rinses OK, opens dispenser and washes continuously and won't continue the cycle.
Can you help?

i had the same problem, stuck in the middle of the cycle. board was fine, element ok relay points not making contact, replaced and everything works fine, 17 years old.

I have a 913T which I haven't used in 3 years. Last time it was used it worked fine. Call me stupid but there are only 2 people living here, hand washing seemed somewhat more practical. I am now in need of a hand operation and will need to use my 913T. Hubby turned it on tonight and it seems to be stuck on "draining the water" and we cannot get it to fill and wash....Any suggestions please?

Checked the back of the power module as suggested above and found a burnt connection. I soldered a new wire across the connection and it's back in business. I would have preferred replacing the power module, or at least the relay but dishes need doing!

Agree with above posts, stuck on wash, water only lukewarm. blown track on the control board - accessed on the front bottom left panel, behind the fascia. Easy fix, expensive problem solved

Had the same problem...........checked the element all ok at 35ohms. Checked the back of the control board to find a burnt terminal, resoldered, all working now. thanks

Same symptoms same model so I checked element as recommended, this had around 35ohms across element which is ok (230x230volts/1500watts). So I checked power supply and found a bad connect behind control card in base of unit which would not have been providing power to element. I recommend removing the circuit card to inspect the back of it. Re soldering this fixed the problem.

Glen, I to had the same dishwasher with the same problem. Let the dishwasher run for a while in the wash cycle, then open the door & see if the water is hot. If the water is not hot or only warm, the element will need replacing. It seems that the dishwasher will not progress to the next cycle until the water reaches a certain temperature. This fixed my washer & i hope it helps.
