My electronics have a fault which won't allow the car to start?

My laguna won't start and gives the impression of a flat battery. It does start with a jump start, but even after the batter has been fully charged it won't restart. Also the control panel shows some of the functions not working (e.g. Abs, airbags, etc)

Sounds like you need a new battery and/or possibly a new alternator.
Try a new battery or borrow one, if it starts then it's the battery, if it starts then won't the next time you start it say few days later, then it's the alternator as it won't be charging your battery.
The dash could just be bulbs have blown.
