Renault speedo sensor?

Hi please could you tell me where the speedo sensor is on a Renault Kangoo Van year 1999 as i think its packed up.

At the back, on top of the gearbox (final drive housing) - it's electrical. Unplug the electrical connector, and then the speedo drive *should* just pop out with a good tug.
