how can i recharge my freezer

What probably happened is that the oil in the compressor has worked its way into the capillary tube of the cooling system, which has caused a restriction that the freon can now not pass through. This is a pretty bad problem but can sometimes be fixed by an evacuation and filter/drier replacement then a recharge. Fridges and freezer should never be stored or transported on side unless absolutely a must. If this happens it needs to be righted up as soon as possible and not plugged for at least 24hrs allowing the oil to settle back to compressor. You could try to unplug and leave for a couple days then plug in and see if cools. Otherwise will probably need service company for repair if repairable at all.
