anti flooding signal has come on and can't restart machine. makes water evacuation noise when switched on. does anyone know how to reset dishwasher? if anyone has another model and knows that may help also. thanks.

or just if your machine is an integral unscrew it and when it is free give it a shake and that can release the cut off switch

On the AEG you need to tip the machine forward to drain the water in the base tray. Once the water has gone the valve resets. This works I did it last night and saved a £60 call out.

I have been told that tipping the machine forward either 60% or fully on its face stops it but it has not worked with my machine although it seems to have worked with others.
As to resetting there must be a combination of keys to hold down for a number of seconds but i have had no success myself yet.
Sorry but at least you can have a go and might get lucky.
