Webcam keeps freezing, how can i stop it?

Everytime i try to use my lifecam vx-1000 after a few mins or less the cam will freeze and wont work again unless i restart my PC, this happens with all applications. What can i do?

most likely you need to add ram memory. your computer needs to have enough ram for the webcam to process faster

unplug stuff you can live without. just when using the cam. this may free up irq resource that's needed. otherwise throw that piece of junk out. i have a piece of junk cam, so i can say that.
