i need to put a new belt on my tumble dryer.which parts of the dryer do i need to take off.to get the new one on .
the dryer is a hotpoint aquarius vtd00

Just had exactly same problem. Unscrew top 2 screws at back of drier, pull top off (needs sliding backward to do).

You can then look inside and see if the belt is snapped.

It's a 10 min job, and providing you remember to unplug the unit first and can hold a screwdriver, it is a simple job!
