Loosen the "clamp" on the main back-bone tube that runs from the front foot support & wheel assembly to the back engine section. Literally pull the front part of the mower forward while rear section remains stationary. This will increase the distance from the motor pull to the blade pulley thereby tightening the belt. Re-tighten the clamp. I think the gap between the tensioner pulley & the belt should be around 1 inch or so.
