My bosch sgs5302Gb dishwasher is not heating up the water, and is taking a very long time to run through the cycle.
Any ideas what is likely to be at fault? Heating element? thermostat ?

I had the same problem and checked everything, but in the end it was the control panel. Ordered a new part and fitted it and worked fine since then. Dishwasher is now 9 years old and going strong.
