My speedfight wont spark, when i put the key in and turn it on the led flashes twice n stays on the second time. also i took the spark plug out and their was petrol on the spark plug dried it out and still nothing... at first i fort it could be the hd lead, or the cdi, but i fort id ask u first... what could be the problem??? cheerz...

hi, I got problem with peugeot speedfight 2 100cc, 2003 year. Everything ok, but no spark. I change CDI (immobiliser with with key), now immobiliser is working, but again no spark.

to be honest mate sounds like the cdi has gone kerput.I own a peugeot speedfight 1 and had the same problem with no spark.When i stripped bike down there was no cdi and it had been bypassed i have since managed to reset it and got a spark. I would suggest taking the batter out for 10 mins to give the imob time to reset then try again if not am afraid the prob is the cdi and this is real expensive to srt out.
good luck and i hope its a simple prob but if u think its the ignition coil ( ht lead ) there is one on ebay i have seen starts at £4 i think
