in the week i was finding it hard to put my car in first gear and it was gettin worse each day now the clutch has completely gone how much is it for a new one and do i need a new gear box aswell
check the operation of the clutch cable or hydraulics, I suspect the clutch isn't disengaging (I don't know your vehicle so cant say whether you have hydraulic or cable operated clutch)

no get the gear linkage checked first. this is wat connects the gear stick to the gear box if this is worn it wont want to go into gear but if thats fine then it could be ur first gear
