Its too big a question to answer here. You need to get a Haynes manual for your car which will show you how to do it and help you decide whether you have the skills. BTW a blown head gasket on a K Series engine often takes the rest of the engine with it, so you will need to check for slipped liners. In recent years there has been a new type head gasket which is supposed to be better than the old type so ensure that one of those is used.
