How do I start up the system?

I have just bought a flat whose heating has been switched off. Icannot get it to start up. It is a Potterton Netaheat Boiler. The timer makes noises, there is aclick at the thermostat, and the pump makes a whirring noise.Cannot see if the pilot is on. How do I relight the pilot?

this is an electronic ignition don't have a pilot light.

put the timer on to constant
turn up the thermostat on the wall
the boiler should fire up
if not under the bottom of the boiler is a small hole put you finger up the hole and there is a reset button push it up.
and the stat on the front set to about 3 / 4.

the boiler should be ok then.
