can you re program a key fob off another ford mondeo to work in my car its a ford mondeo s reg but i have seen keys on ebay off older cars can you use them

Yes you can, make sure its the right type of keyfob for your car though, theres a choice of infra red & RF types, they are NOT interchangable.

Also remember your car has the Ford PATS immobiliser fitted & that is a different system to the remote fob.

If you already have 2 keys that will start the car then you can code another key to it yourself, takes less then a minute to do & is easy diy.
