Hi

I had the double bleep issue. Cleaned all filters and followed up every suggestion on this chat. What fixed it for me was shutting the door HARD two or three times and suddenly it started working ok. Bonkers!!

Hi I have a Classixx 8 dryer and when I try to start it, it simply beeps twice and doesn't work. I have cleaned the filter and condenser etc. I've also had a go at the door sensor. Is there anything else I could try?

Just had problem of light coming on and beeping twice, then not working.
Thanks to previous suggestion, pulled off plastic cover in door to get connection and now works.

My boschclassixx7 was beeping twice when I pressed start but didnt start. We tried a few things... Cleaning it out... Secrets flaps etc. Still nothing. Saw a post online (may hand been here) to try the door switch. Turns out the striker wasn't hitting the door switch. We pulled off the little cover (it breaks when it comes off btw) and we bent the bimetal strip towards us and then tried the machine. Voila!! My towels are dry Ince more.

Had the same issues with ours (it's getting old now) with the light coming on. we also had little puddles on the floor and stuff not drying properly. As previously stated by another poster, if you remove the fluff tray at the bottom left, under that is a small compartment (no tools required to access it). Ours was full of fluff and water. Cleaned it out and it's now running fine again. You don't even need the side off.

When start button is pressed on and when I release it, it turns off so have to hold button in to stay on ???

I have a WTW8650-2 with problem of stopping with non filled containers, and removed left hand side panel and cleaned out sump with wet and dry vacuum cleaner. The pump feeding the top drain drawer was burnt out due to lint and algae. As my dryer sits on top of washing machine cut a hole in the sump using microbore pipe and drained it into washing machine drain. so no pump now and occasionally fill drawer with warm water and bleach to flush across condenser....works OK... a month out of guarantee and expensive so DIY

Hi, i have had the same problem as you guys, the filter lamp just lights up all the time. I have tried to clean the first filter and the "second" filter( the filter box you can gain access to by opening the lid situated just above the water container). That did not help, but i was sure that i was on to something. My thought was that there is some kind of sensor, that picks up how much humidity there is left in the clothing. This seems logical, and i guess this true. But i just couldnt seem to find out where the clog was. Then i discovered that if you take out the "second" filter (the filterbox mentioned earlier), there is a compartment underneath this filter. The compartment seems to be a kind of buffer for the watercontainer( By the way, pull out the water container to get a better look of where this containment is). In this compartment there was loads of sticky fluff, this fluff clogged the valve to the water container. So i used a cloth to clean out all the water, and made sure i got all the fluff out of there. I also used a q-tip to clean the exit point of the valve(the end that goes inn to the water container).

That seemed to do the trick ! Im guessing that there is some kind of sensor in that compartment, and when the water container is full, the compartment (buffer) fills up and triggers a sensor:)

Let me know if it resolved your problems. That way we can find out if this is a problem that occurs often.

FILTER LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON EVEN THOUGH THE FILTER IS CLEAN, WHY IS THIS HAPENING

Ian,

The door catch is somewhat suspect on these. Try blowing out the dust that inevitably accumulates inside the catch. Then slam the door a couple of times.

If this does not work try taking the top off the dryer. Inside you will find two spring loaded contacts that rest on the drum. Ensure these are clean and that they make a good contact.

I am not an expert but have had to tackle the beast from time time.
