Hi, I dont know how to fix it -it sounds like a garage job, but I also have a 1994 vauxhall corsa 1.5 TD and it recently had ++ probs. One guy said he thought the water pump had failed, but the garage fitted me a new starter motor - but still dont know what the smoke pouring out the back was!! This could mean that there are probs with the water pump too - but they cant tell yet. Anyway, since then I have had ++ oil leaking from engine too. Can't tell where it's coming from as oil level on dip-stick not going down! Is a mystery. My 1.5 TD has been a nighmare since I got it. I have had to replace: Radiator (twice), clutch, battery, fan belt, air filter, starter motor, headlamp (whole unit), brakes and brake shoes, both rear brake springs- all in last 2 years. Engine and gear box are on their way out too. Now mystery oil leak. Hope you have more luck with yours. If not, get rid of it soon!!
