The old drum belt having broken was replaced and then we
found it did not dry the clothers, it was only getting warm
so i put the fan belt on in a figure of eight and all was well
or so I thought, weeks later the fan belt jumps off and now
it will not stay in place, so now my thinking is that the drum
belt is on wrong in some way can you help ????

When belt has been fitted around the drum and motor shaft, black idler pulley then has to be pushed to the right, against spring tension, and belt moved so that belt is to the left of idler pulley. Release idler pulley and belt will then be in tension.

I have tried to fix it without success. i have even tried to shorten it and fix it with super glue but it didn't work. So trying to buy one on the internet. good luck!
