how can I fix a homelite ST-155 grass trimmer?

I have this homelite ST-155 grass trimmer the fuel lines are missing and there is only one hole in the gas tank with a fuel line with the filter attached to it. The carb has 2 inlets one for the primer and the other for the fuel line. Since there is only 1 hole in the tank how is this fuel system supposed to be hooked up. I have been repairing small engines for a few years and have never seen this kind of hookup and have no idea how to hook up this fuel system.

I have one of these. The upper line connection on the carb goes to the tank and ends with the tank strainer inside the tank. The lower connection is an overflow line that extends through a loop on the side of the back frame and ends hanging loose next to the bottom to the tank.
