How do i adjust a 1.9td citroen xantia clutch?

how can i adjust my clutch on my p reg citroen xantia 1.9td its only done 60.000miles
Lou denison, June 2007
Asuming the clutch pedal isn't stiff ( a sure sign that the cluch is on its way out and puts excess load on the dreaded plastic pedal connector)

It's quite easy to adjust the pedal/ clutch cable
1, remove the air filter box for easy access
2, you will see the clutch cable below this box, it has two nuts on the end of the long thread.
3, release the outer nut and tighten clockwise the other nut ( a couple of turns is sufficient)
4, re-tighten the outer nut onto the inner nut
5, reposition the air filter box and connect the air hoses top and bottom.
6, make a cuppa and enjoy your hard work
