One of the spark plugs on my Saxo is loose. Is there a way to mend this ? Will I need to remove the cylinder head ?

Unless its stripped the thread out of the head then it should be just a case of tightening the spark plug up, until you try doing it up your not going to know, perhaps it wasn't fully done up when the plugs where last changed & the vibration of the engine has worked it lose.
