How can I stop the loud racket fan noise that occurs periodically on my Sam?
My realtively new Samsung has been making a loud racket periodically for the last few weeks. It sound liks the fan is working extra hard to egt teh frige to the required temperature. I originally thought it was due to hard water calcium carbonate build up and after installign a water softner the racket went away but alas it is back again. Any Ideas?
please note switching of and defrosting for 24 hours only works for a couple of weeks, and problem will re-occur,

Eleanor,the problem that occurs with samsung fridges is that ice builds up in fridge around fan motor,this can be sorted by defrosting fridge thoroughly,this may mean you will need to switch appliance off for 24hrs.
