its quite easy to do yourself.
at the back of the unit at the top are three screws holding on the top. make sure you disconnect mains fully before opening the unit.
with the top off, locate the motor. on the side of the motor will be:
1). screw fit
or
2). push fit.

push fit requires a lug to be drepressed then the brush will come out (slide it away from the motor)
screw fit is easy, unscrew the bleedin brushes and fit new parts.
make sure you disconnect the wires to the brushes before attempting to remove them !!!
