HOW CAN I FIX MY MONDEO VERONA 1.8 (MK 1)?

I HAVE JUST BROUGHT A VERONA, WITH ABS & HAVE NEVER HAD AN ABS CAR BEFORE.
I HAVE JUST CHANGED ALL THE DISC'S & PADS & BLEAD THE BRAKES WITH THE ENGINE OFF, AS I ALWAYS HAVE WITH PREVIOUS CARS, HOWEVER WHEN I TURN THE ENGINE OVER THE BRAKE PEDDLE JUST HITS THE FLOOR? SHOULD I BE BLEADING IT WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING OR DO YOU THINK THERE MAY BE ANOTHER PROBLEM? THANKS.

ABS systems are best bled with a pressure bleeder & also they need to be bled in the correct order!

I cant remember if the Mondeo also has 2 extra bleed screws on the ABS modulator under the bonnet, been a few years since I looked at one.

Is the ABS warning light coming back on after you start the engine?
