my air bag light stops on and flashers and my horn don t work

same fault on my car with the horn not working
i found it to be the thin copper tape/card that connects the fixed wiring to the steering wheel . it had broken free from its connector and wouldn't make a secure enough connection again so its off to the scrappys to get another one

not as lucky as the other people that get to wiggle some connections to get theirs working again
i know that this is a long time after your post if you have got it fixed at a garage already could you tell me how much it cost?

Richard. That is staggering!! Had same problem and tried the same on my Mondeo V6 - one little wiggle of the yellow connector - problem solved.

Under the Front Passengers seat there is a single Yellow connector, I moved this connector and like a mirical the air bag light stopped flashing, may have had something to do with the CD case sitting on top of the connector.
