how can I fix wipers that won't park in normal rest position?

when I use the wipers whether in intermitent, low or high speed position they do not return to rest position in a vauxhall vectra, 1996 what would be the cause of this?

Sounds like the park switch in the wiper motor has failed.
Need a manual for repair

sounds to me like the live feed for the "park" cycle of the wiper motor has failed check the wiring to the wiper motor, you will probably need a manual to tell you which wires are live feeds, you should have a live feed to the motor when the wiper switch is in the "off" position

Sounds like they`ve either been taken off their splines and not replaced in the correct position or the arm linkage is worn.
