Hi
There is no adjustment on the alt for these cars
they have a preload tensioner, does yours have the a/c if so there is a wheel on its own towards the top of the engine, this has a square hole in it that a 3/4 rachet will fit into move this toward the back of the engine. hopefully this will be enough to get the new belt back on.
There is another adjuster this one is locatted at the bottom of the engine you will have to remove the engine guard please let me know how you get on with the top adjuster first.
