My Whirlpool Side by Side Ice maker plus has stopped making ice. It is not receiving water. I have checked my supply line and it still works because my water system is working. At the top of the Ice maker where the water is channeled down into the cube maker is dry. I can't seem to figure out why there would be water to my water dispenser, but not my ice maker.

water is fed up two different lines.
1st to water disp
2nd to ice maker

both are controlled by different valves...

quite a common fault on these are the infra red sensors situated at either side of the ice maker, when these fail ...ice maker stops..

please also check that you havent switched ice maker onto vacation mode ???
