My vauxhall tigra reverse lights are not working?

I have changed the bulbs and the fuse, but they still do not work. Is is the switch in the gearbox and if so how and what do I have to do to get it fixed and do you know the average cost to fix this problem????

Hi Nic

This isn't about your car unfortunately! I saw a story about you a while back and I'm working on something similar. Could you give me a call on 020 8673 4229 or email me at mail@pressgangnews.co.uk.

Many thanks

Melissa

the switch is the most likely cause of your problems. unplug the multiplug from the switch which is at the front of the gear box between the left, front engine mount and the clutch lever. bridge out the 2 terminals of the multiplug using a fused jumper wire. turn ignition on and check lights, if they come on it's the switch that's faulty.
