How can I get my Peugot Speedfight 50 to start?

My Peugot Speedfight 50 will only start intermittently. When it has been cold or wet, the battery will keep the ignition turning over but it just won't spark to start. When it has been dry or warm it seems to be fine. However, once you turn it off and try again, it will not start unless you leave it about 10 hours.
It has a new battery and will not kick-start either.
Any help appreciated

hav u tried replacing the spark plug or checking to see if the spark plug cap is fitted properly?the kick start will not work if the spark plug cap isnt fitted properly either so its best to check just to be on the safe side.with the bad weather, the spark plug could be knackered bt sayin tht a speedfight has all its engine components covered unlike my gilera dna which has given me some heart attack moments when i changed my spark plug and didnt fit the cap bk on it properly.lol i think you should try and cancel any possible faults by doing some minor maintenace such as cleaning the air filter and replacing the spark plug,at least then you can rule out some things.
