How do I fix my rear centre seatbelt on my Ford Mondeo 1997 ?

The centre rear seatbelt is supposed to work when the seat is clicked into place. However mine stays solid and won't pass an MOT until it releases. I have removed the cover from the rear of the seat but I cannot see how to get at the mechanism. Helpppppp

Thanks for your reply.
I was doing that and it didnt work . Ford wanted £190 to fit a new 'revised' seat belt. However the man at the garage doing the other work for me removed the seat and did something (he said 'jiggled' ) and its now free! It didn't cost me anything either ! Now I have the Belt clipped into place so that it can't jam in the rest position again !
Whew !
Now all I need to do is to remove the spanner symbol as its been serviced too !

i used to have this problem and discovered i wasnt pushing seat back into place properly when it had been folded down or moved while putting on seat covers, just give seat a good hard push back into place and seatbelt should then be free.
