How do I put the assembly fuel line in my ryobi 890r?

I am replacing dry rotted fuel lines. The part I need help with is 791-182353 from outdoordistributors.com. There is a filter on one end but i can't put pressure from inside the gas tank (I can't get my fingers inside it) to get it up through the hole...help please!!! I have tried to pull the tube away from the filter, but it won't seem to budge and I don't want to ruin it...or tear it. I am totally at a loss. Any hellp would be greatly appreciated.

A little late to help on this one, but it may help others.
Run a wire thru the fuel hole toward the cap.
cut a bevel on the new hose so it makes a point.
push the hose over the wire and it will guide the hose to the hole. with a little work, the point of the hose will enter the outlet hole. pull thru with needle nose pliers.

You take the filter off, push the tube in from outside and fish the tube threw the gas opening and put the filter back on
