How do I change the starter rope on my craftsman gas weedeater?

I'm having problems trying to figure out my 32cc /1.9cu.in.2-cycle Gasoline Brushwacker. The starter rope broke off inside the engine housing. The pulley is covered by the engine housing, therefore I'm unable to get to the remainder of the broken cord.

when you put the star bit down the shft of the clutch use a flat blade srew driver to hold the flywheel in place as you unscrew the cluthch screw. took me time to figure it out but its simple lol

I also have a craftsman weedwacker (25cc). i found that after you take all the screws that hold the housing together, you still have to deal with the clucth drum before you can get to the kit-pulley-starter. This is where i am stuck. It looks like a screw right in the middle, but if i turn it the whole flywheel moves. still looking for help.
