when i reverse my peugeot 206 the brakes bang?

when i reverse my peugeot 206 (T reg) the back end starts rising on one side and then the brakes bang and the handbrake goes all tight then when i pull forwards it feels like the wheel has feel off and then the handbrake goes all loose and some times when i drive the brake pedal goes right to the floor then after a bit it goes back to normal. (now this might have nothing to do with it but just in case ill add it radiator water is bone dry and brake fluid is ok and it past it MOT last month)

Some or all of your brake shoes (inside the hub) have come loose and are catching on the braking mechanism when you reverse. You need to fix it asap or it will start to happen when you are going forward, locking up the back wheels at times. To fix all you need are new brake shoes on both back hubs, probably about £25.

your brake problem sounds like the brake could be sticking especally if your car has been stood a long time with the handbrake on your best bet would be to take it 2 a garage just fill up your raditor as normal and take a bottle of water with just in case and ask someone if they can follow and get them 2 have a look

Take it to a garage, it is a danger to you and everyone else (if you can get it there with no water in the radiator)your driving a vehicle in a dangerous condition.Cars need servicing and repaired.Do it now before the accident happens.
