I replaced the inside disk on MK3021GAS and now it does not work?

I replaced teh disk thinking that it will work nut now the disk keeps on spinning and teh computer does not recognize the H/D.
There is nothing else in there so am I missing something. Is there a reset button on the drive that will make it recognize the new disk???
