I have replaced the CDI unit but no joy, any ideas?

Clean out the carburetor (with petrol) then Clean the Air filter With petrol (if its 2 stroke after its clean pour oil over it) if that doesn't work adjust the high speed needle (if its cutting out when you rev it you will want to screw the high speed needle in adjust in in 1/8 of a turn. If that doesnt work replace the petrol your using use 98 premium raver than 95 standard (if its a 2 stroke use synthetic oil at half the amout you would use mineral oil) hopes this helps

the reason you ped cuts out when u open the throttle is cause speedfigts are cr*p no offence you should keep an eye out for a gilera runner sp50 mines fully de-restricted with a hebo sports exhaust and hebo everything like clutch, variator, all of it really it does 60mph standard it now does bout 80-90mph SPEEDFIGHTS suck
